It's also present different times of the day and night I don't have a problem with high blood pressure, typically it runs low but my pulse rate runs higher than normal most of the time I have pvc's (premature ventricular contractions) so being able to hear that my heart is not beating in normal rhythm is unnerving (putting it mildly).
In my case, it was blood pressure medicine that made my mild tinnitus much worse, so i would definitely not recommend taking a blood pressure drug to reduce tinnitus!
Guanfacine reduces the heart rate and blood pressure So, guanfacine can only help, imo
