Y of order this order shall apply to all persons employed in household occupations whether paid on a time, piece rate, commission, or other basis, unless such occupation is performed for an industry covered by an industry order of this commission, except that (a) provisions of sections 3 through 12 of this order shall not apply to persons emplo. (5) an employer shall make a reasonable effort to find a work schedule not to exceed eight (8) hours in a workday, in order to accommodate any affected employee who was eligible to vote in an election authorized by this section and who is unable to work the alternative workweek schedule established as the result of that election. Employers must comply with the requirements in the iwc wage order or orders applicable to their industry and occupation, as they do with other california labor code requirements.
