Refer to this video to watch my c course. C (pronounced see) is a computer programming language developed in the early 1970s by ken thompson and dennis ritchie at bell labs They used it to improve the unix operating system. The c language provides the four basic arithmetic type specifiers char, int, float and double (as well as the boolean type bool), and the modifiers signed, unsigned, short, and long.
Many of these 70 languages were influenced by c due to its success and ubiquity. C syntax makes use of the maximal munch principle C syntax influenced the syntax of succeeding languages, including c++, java, and c#. The c programming language has often been cited as a model for technical writing, with reviewers describing it as having clear presentation and concise treatment.
Software developers writing in c are encouraged to conform to the standards, as doing so helps portability between compilers
