Is it possible to remove the background of an object based on background color.
11 i have an image (a logo) that was on a black background
I have used photoshop's (cs5) background eraser tool to remove the background This is great except that there are black (well grey/black) dots around the image on the curves How can i remove them? So how to remove background color and noise from a text image or any other alternative solution
The quickest option i would use if you are only removing white background, is on the layers panel, create a new layer under your image with the desired background colour / photo etc Then on the layer you are trying to remove the white from, select the option multiply from the dropdown next to the opacity % Similarly screen will do the same thing for black in the image. I have a shadow on a solid coloured background
I know that the colour of the shadow is black (#000000), and i know exactly what the background colour is
How can i remove the colored background. I have line art images (scans of prints from an engraving), and i want to be able to edit the images to remove the background art while leaving the foreground I have about 600 images that i want t. Software like photoshop and gimp have background removal tools which can be used to make a good mask without having to resort to using green screen
As for solving the problem you seem to have been landed with, you will have to jump through some additional hoops. I have more than 40 pictures of which i want to remove background and make them white background I cannot do it one by one as its gonna take a lot of time even days I want to automate the process.
