Below are some waitlist stats from the last few years
Ucb 2024 cds data number of qualified applicants offered a place on waiting list 10,894 number accepting a place on the waitlist 7853 number of waitlisted students admitted 26 no. All students who apply to uc berkeley and select a major within the college of natural resources are evaluated based on their application, not on the particular major they select. Starting fall 2025, berkeley is planning to offer a new electrical and computer engineering major
Thus, the arc of cs enrollment bends inevitabily towards specialized majors Cs, eecs, and now ece With this change, coe can even more tightly manage enrollment and offer more specialized pathways optimized to student interest At ucla, even fewer california students were admitted this year than at uc berkeley.
It’s that time of year again as the uc application has now opened and submission starts october 1 through december 2 for this admission cycle
I am @gumbymom one of the two uc forum champions/moderators I got rejected from uc berkeley and i just wanted to know if anyone has success stories from an appeal I just need some hope Dear uc berkeley admissions committee, thank you for the time and care you put into reviewing my application
