Nk cream actually aren't long pole iirc, yes the stems are long pole but that's only in other housings, within the nk cream housing the hole in the middle where the stem pole goes is actually longer so you're bottoming out on the rails. Whereas a phase to neutral load only has one phase to protect because neutral is at ground potential. The 2 pole disconnect only switches the 2 hot wires in a 240 volt circuit
