However, i`m confident that most early 42's were reliable, or they would have gone the way of the remington r51 I understand the glock perfection cannot be applied to every pistol that has every rolled off the assembly line, but i feel that the glock platform is the ak of handguns. The r51 is about 1/4 longer and the same height as the shield w/the 8 round extended magazine With the flush magazine, the shield is shorter
