Surfaces can be damaged by sudden and rapid temperature changes. For caesarstone cleaning, you may substitute abrasive pads with a soft microfibre cloth to prevent scratching and damaging your shiny, sophisticated benchtops, splashbacks, and floors. Although caesarstone countertops are heat resistant, they are not immune to damage from rapid temperature changes Always use a trivet or hot pad when placing hot pots or pans on the countertop.
As with any surface, caesarstone® can be permanently damaged by exposure to strong chemicals and solvents that undermine its physical properties Do not use products that contain trichlorethane or methylene chloride, such as paint removers or stripper. Caesarstone is more heat resistant than other stone surfaces including most granite, marble and limestone worktops It is not affected at all by temperatures lower than 150°c, but like any stone material, caesarstone can be damaged by rapid temperature changes, or prolonged exposure to open flames, high heat or direct sunlight.
However, it does require protection from very high temperatures (above 150°c or 300°f) or sudden extreme temperature changes.
