Maybe that was the case in australia, but here in the us you can't throw out a blanket statement like that There are a few different variations of the drz 400, and there were changes at some point along the way I chose a different bike, so i am not knowledgable on the specifics, but i think the 2001 is the best year (which was the only year of the klx400 i believe) as far as the carb goes.
