Code 36 is an open in the left front or right rear speed sensor, so the first thing i would check is to see if the sensor is plugged in and whether or not the wires are damaged If the sensor is plugged in, check to make sure the connector pins re damaged or corroded Ny state inspection is coming up and they plug you into the emmisions com.
