Since you're launching through the epic games launcher,
Launch the epic games launcher select library right click rocket league select manage go to launch options and enable them The issue with epic is you need to visit two places, one place where the manifests are kept on c drive for epic client to read, and other place is where you place your games at, but if you made more places you put your games, then that more places you need to look for. If you a problem with epic games launcher downloads/updates like slow downloads or making your pc crash then this might help… Go to your epic games directory with windows explorer
