If they sell a defective part to a backyard mechanic i do not believe they can just say well we do not stand behind these parts unless you are a credited shop. my business and loyalty is with autozone not the manufactuer. You can purchase a generic vacuum tube of the same diameter from an auto parts store (not necessarily autozone) or hardware store and cut it to the needed length Auto zone is the only big name auto parts store that carries any timken bearings here that i could find, on the shelf

They wanted to sell me a genuine timken outer race and pair it up with the duralast cone bearing
I'd like to hear from people that have an autozone reman engine or know someone who has one
How much did you pay? Water pump bearing bit the dust today, which replacement pump is best Gates 42005 with plastic impeller, or carquest, masterpro, or murray with steel impeller I'd be happy to add/change any parts of this if people have suggestions that have worked for them
As always, please dispose of coolant and all vehicle fluids appropriately Most autozone/advance auto parts stores will dispose of your fluid if you bring it to them in an appropriate container Anybody know how long i have to return my core (engine) to autozone I'm scared to ask because it's been a minute, so to speak.
The story goes like this
I bought the jeep (1990 2.5l wrangler), i went through it all, and one of many parts i replaced was the slave master and clutch cylinders The new slave cylinder went bad withing a week (50 miles) I got an additional replacement from autozone. For a 2004 jeep wrangler tj with a 4.0l engine, it's best to use a hoat (hybrid organic acid technology) antifreeze
While prestone 'all vehicle' claims compatibility, many users recommend sticking with a known hoat coolant like zerex g05 or peak gold Zerex g05 is widely available at auto parts stores like advance auto, autozone, and napa. What i need to know is if anyone has rented the ball joint press from autozone or o'reilly's auto parts and found that the tool was exactly what they needed to do the job I called both of my local stores today and they couldn't confirm if the kits would work specifically for the jeep wranglers.
