I don't usually give my thoughts on these threads, but nude is my favourite radiohead song I am astonished how good thom's vocals are on this song I usually don't care for vocal performance much, but this one stands out I also really like the atmospheric guitar work.
I like to think of in rainbows about each song being a bunch of different phases or situations in relationships with other people, all the different kinds of love
For me, in nude, it could mean so many things, but i think the lines it opens with don't get any big ideas, they're not gonna happen. Radiohead lyrics nude don't get any big ideas they're not gonna happen you paint yourself white and fill up with noise but there'll be something missing now that you've found it, it's gone now that you feel it, you don't you've gone off the rails so don't get any big ideas they're not gonna happen you'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is. ‘nude’ was the penultimate song of their song and was originally from their 2007 album ‘in rainbows’ ‘nude’ was first recorded during sessions for their third album ‘ok computer’ (1997)
