I had used silicone on one gasket on my toyota landcrusier transfer case many years ago and learned the hard way. Also totally unrelated while i had her sitting there idling thought i'd check the charging system Severe increase of the leak may lead to oil on the rear tire
Challenging in the timeframe, requires special tools, may still be the crack leaking of which repair is not feasible in the timeframe
Hello, as the title suggests, i have an oil leak and it appears that the oil feed head attachment on the left hand head has loosened off a bit
The problem i have, is that if i tighten the head attachment (long 14mm nut) then my oil line kinks, as the fitting that attaches the line to the head do. Hello, on my 04' v11 ballabio, the sensor ( oil pressure sensor ) up on the case on the left side, is leaking a bit I tried to tighten the two allen screws, but it hasn't helped
Can i make my own gasket Should i seal it with some blue gasket sealer Has that happen to anyone else / thanks. When the front goes, it can look like a leak from the front of the motor somewhere
When the back goes, it can look like the rear main seal is gone, i.e
The seal around the output shaft to the clutch. About 1,000 miles ago (1.5 weeks), i noticed that there was a small amount of oil running down the right side of the engine It's about equal to what always runs down the left side from the tps A few days of commuting later, the small amount has become enough to being collecting on the oil pan f.
I cleaned the leaking joint area, sealed it with blue gasket sealer / instant gasket and then rubbed a black silicone over the top This repair works 100% and it's practically invisible. Part of my issues was the #15 gasket for the oil pipe that the hose attaches to (notably, oil leak from this gasket appears at the 'weep hole at the bottom of the clutch housing.)
I was hoping the leak was as simple as the timing sensor so i had smeared a light coating of silicone sealer between the shim and case
