I don't really consider toxic yuri a genre itself, but i do feel like toxic relationships are often found in 2 types of yuri or romance in general 1) psychological, thriller, mature romance (mature in the literal way , as in featuring nuanced adult relationships), darker stories with character driven plots Usually most toxic players can be found in competitive games, or games that have a subscription fee (cough wow cough) where making a mistake can make people angry for wasting their time/money or just losing.
Most toxic fandom, mcyt, least toxic, hannibal fandom mcyt is a very dangerous area in terms of shipping and stuff like that because they are, in fact, real people, so my own issues are related to the boundary breaking
