When i submitted a support ticket i was told i have this issue because i already linked my xbox account to another battle.net, but that doesn’t make sense since i just created the xbox account on the same day i tried linking it!
I’m seeing how widely used the aforementioned websites are, and, upon creating accounts there i also see the ability to “sync” and “link,” respectively, my blizzard account
Very curious if that is safe. Sony, microsoft, and blizzard do not have a “single license” type deal where you can share the same license on all platforms The progress is saved to your battlenet account which is linked to your console account, but that is it Sony still requires you to buy a copy to play on their system
If you go on blizzard website i guess you can unlink the steam account and then login to a different battlenet account or connect a different steam account to the original blizzard account. In my case, the xbox side showed the accounts were linked, but blizzard does not see that, only to + connect Blizzard does not allow battlenet account sharing between adults in any way Blizzard support unauthorized account access policy the blizzard end user license agreement explains what you may and may not do with a blizzard account
This article highlights a few passages from the eula that are most relevant to this policy.
