Just a few weeks ago i had my power amp serviced, and now it sounds much better Naim amps have nickle plated banana sockets, because of the potential of dissimilar metals issues its a good idea to use the same material with the banana pins & thats what the naim plugs are I was quite supprised at the difference it makes, it really is worth every penny.

It was my understanding (from talking with dealer and posts on the forum) that the only differences between the qute1 and the qute2 was the streaming board and the usb to spdif converter built in for upgrades and that a qute1 with 24/192 upgrade would be identical to the qute2

This is the naim forum and it is a clear fact that any newer linn speaker sounds better with the binding post links removed and run single wire I mention this because i heard the katan the first day it came out at my dealers and they hadn't yet removed the links (they actually use a clever connector made up of speaker wire and binding posts.
