Brownell's gunkote is the better choice than durakote, but i have no personal experience using the 2 part durablue other than looking at it. When i google info it does not give the phone number Oxpho blue from brownells worked well for me

I plan a good spray of rem oil before, try to keep covered as much as possible Then keep out of case for 2 hour drive home and cleaning.
