Trueso i bit the bullet and decided to re download sims 3 plus all my expansions but i'm looking for some good cc (furniture, cas, etc) im really interested in good skin details and hair Packages and overrides should be 2 subfolders with another file (not in the subfolders) called resources.cfg.package files go in the folder names packages which is the subfolder of your mods folder If you guys could drop links to your favorite sites to get cc (besides the sims resource) id be forever grateful.

Everything i find now are mostly or sims 4 only
Please recommend trusted websites other than thesimsresource One of the main reasons sims youtubers and bloggers don't share their mods folder because of the bad cc that can come from them and the hassle of having to go through hundreds of files to weed out the bad cc and mods. Cut and paste all the new items into here Double click sims 3 like you are starting it
When it pulls up, you will see an exclamation point next to downloads click it Once all your new cc (custom content) shows up, select all, click install and wait for the magic to happen Once it says all installed, click ok and start playing! Cc files that shows up as “the sims 3 custom content” when you see a message like that it usually means it's either custom content or sims 3 store content.

Depends on the type of mods and cc you're downloading Most mods come with.package files., make sure you have a folder called mods in your sims 3 folders
