So i decided to check out streamelements and after some googling found a lack of answering regarding customizing the chat (without overlay or any such)

Whats your opinion on streamlabs with obs vs stream elements vs obs And what do successful/big streamers use between Streamlabs for alerts and obs for streaming, or streamelements for alerts but with obs for streaming? It can take a minute to learn how the editor works, but now i love it The video nerd on youtube has a great tutorial video, best streamelements overlay tutorial for beginners, about this explaining how to build the overlays and event labels I recently switched from streamlabs to streamelements and one major difference i noticed is that streamelements lacks the transparent chatbox It was a really great option to have that on slobs but on regular obs, it's not so easy
(although i don't think it's impossible)

Same can be done with all sorts of local hosted bots (i always recommend streamer.bot) I use mainly streamelements for the easy quick commands that chat can use, i’ll use streamer bot for commands that i use/ some special channel point rewards
