Comparing the prices of both.i can get comprehensive insurance with aami for about $650.compared to racv which is over $900
I have never put in a claim in the past and so am not sure what else to be looking for when choosing insurance I would imagine insurance between companies are. Aami safe driver rewards™ apply to the individual policy and do not reflect the total number of years a customer has been insured with aami but is not explained on the card/brochure that comes in the mail with the new insurance policy (showing the gold, ruby, sapphire, etc, I had to call up to get it explained
Does anyone use aami for their landlord building insurance (will pay extra for rent default etc, and yes, they cover those items now only from recently) We are currently with terri scheer and not sure whether it’s worthwhile to change to save a couple hundred $$ I am in sydney if that matters. Aami doesn't allow choice of repairer

That said, i have had both home and car insurance claims with aami and haven't really had an issue I have done quotes with racq and they seem to come back considerably more expensive than many others. Aami for example, states the following in regards to market value The amount you could reasonably sell your car for in its current condition, if the incident didn’t occur. You cannot get your vehicle fixed at your preferred repairer with suncorp group which aami falls under unless it's shannons insurance if its your fault And if it isn't your fault, aami would scare you into getting your car fixed with them saying incorrect statements like the work won't be guarateed by the repairer.
