Thanks for the tips everyone.
Im now armed with lots of suggestions to interject if someone happens to mention applebees
Im on my way out the door right now, but will surely be signing on via laptop tonight from the hotel since i am soo hopelessly addicted to this forum! At the time i was working at applebees in the mall, and one of the running jokes there (applebees) was to send people to the basement Kt's tends to have it, big chains like o'charley's and applebees rarely do Kt's has always been consistent in being good food
It does have that o'charley's atmosphere, a point the wife and i discussed to no end during our visit, but it feels a little more personal somehow Disappointing to find out there is no head chef, however. By trishaw » sat mar 28, 2009 12:12 am yes, i know about those places The place i'm asking about is called dave & buster's
It's kind of like an applebees with adult arcade games.
The owners (or at maybe previous owners of the local applebees weren't 'great' owners One story had them telling area managers to contact all managers on vacation and tell them to return. While we eat at fast food on the interstate sometimes, i'm a big user of yelp/urbanspoon to find great local places while travelling and will go happily out of my way for great unique food We've found some real gems this way
Tumbleweed, white castle, kfc, applebees, texas roadhouse, long johns, o'charleys, olive garden deb deb Applebees, on the other hand, isn't putting bbc beer on tap and isn't sourcing their food locally at all
