The price was $325 after shipping from china Bringing together several threads on this issue as there are a few different permutations of folks complaining about audio static issues on the honda pilot 2016 or 2017 with a navi head unit found on the touring and elite models. The device works with all existing features in the 10th gen civic and adds some other features

Our 2016 model doesn't have the right mic, so it's not possible to retrofit for carplay use.
I had installed a display unit from a 2017 model that supports carplay, unfortunately it didn't work for me, was wondering if you had to change the usb port or anything to do with the usb port?
Hi, i just finished upgrading of my 2016 elite with the 2017 head unit In my experience it is not as complex as it looks from the descriptions, but still needs concentration and care. I absolutely do not want to change the head unit After speaking with several places, here is the recommendation i am considering, and would appreciate your thoughts on if this would do what i want it to do.
I was disappointed by the clunky head unit and upset that honda removed the hdmi port After countless hours of searching and tons of button pressing i was able to access the diagnostic menu, developers menu, and the hidden android settings. I bought a 2017 pilot head unit to replace the unit in my 2016 pilot I did this in order to have apple carplay available
(the 2016 unit does not support carplay).
