I received a couple of days later. Why would a 1 pound 9 oz package cost $46 to ship I was very patient with the shipping delays over the holidays, and fortunately so were my buyers

Last monday, i mailed a large order to delaware
For some unknown reason (possibly last week's snowstorm), the usps dive. In 5 years i have had 1 package out of 300 damaged due to some (questionable) circumstance which was quickly and favorably resolved with usps (insurance on esty shipping labels). My customer bought a pair of earrings on december 7th I ship everything usps priority mail flat rate
I put them in the mail on december 8th The tracking on etsy doesn't show the package as being received by the post office The customer just called me to tell me she wants the earrings where are. If your buyer was to contact the courier/postal service asking about their package the courier/postal service would advise them to contact you, the shipper, & ask you to contact the courier/postal service to put a trace on the package
So, technically speaking, the shipper is always responsible for the packages they ship.
It was a first class package (those are the only ones we ever have a problem with) I would appreciate it, if anyone can tell me how to reach and talk to a real person with usps, or if there is any recourse of action i might take. So i have recently had a lot of packages marked return to sender, undeliverable etc I have one customer that is requesting a full refund
I just got the package back and it says refused, unable to forward The customer says the address is correct and they did not refuse it I do find it intere.
