At the cbx bridge entrance on the us side, volaris airlines has a check in right there as you walk in Nobody checks your rod tube You just surrender it with your checked bag and you are on your way
Later in the airport , you walk throgh customs with your carry on stuff There you are checked by customs. Tj to la paz on volaris Super easy and cheap if you are not bringing a ton of gear
