Cyr, born willis marie van schaack on june 3, 1918, in minneapolis, minnesota, became one of the most iconic and refined burlesque performers of the 20th century. Lili starred in a few movies including the miami story and the naked and the dead, but her acting career didn’t blossom and she soon left it behind Cyr retired from the stage she began a lingerie business in which she would retain an interest until her death.
