I used it on 971f which is much denser than 987f, but i have not used it yet. I was at hobby lobby last week and bought a bundle of fat quarters and charms squares in matching fabrics When i got home some of the charm squares weren't square Was disappointed to say the least, next time i will order them from m*q

If you have a hobby lobby near you might want to check and see if they have any christmas fabric left I got the last at our hobby lobby
