I like deltarune but don't have too many concrete thoughts about it since it's unfinished
I don't think it's automatically better than undertale because of things like bigger scale or more experienced devs, but im excited to see the care towards the game coalesce. However, deltarune and undertale seem to take a different approach to this relationship the player has with the character Undertale famously uses player choice to the fullest extent it can, allowing you to chose the morality of the main character and the outcomes that effect the supporting cast surrounding them.
