I downloaded the latest discover care, downloaded the latest map and installed onto my micro sd card My new r has discover pro but it came without an sd card When i put the micro sd card with an sd adapter into the car it doesn't recognize that any navigation data is loaded

Hi all, i am having trouble updating my vw sd card to update my discover media sat nav
Initially i downloaded the discovercare program and inserted my sd card, which detected the card, ran the program but had issues creating a backup

I was doing the vw update method straight onto the sd card for the pro version but then vw always rolls that out after the traditional method of doing it On that basis i stopped using the discoverycare approach You had to update the software for each round of map releases which was pretty stupid The household has the seat flavour of discover media and pro, same generic files
