Only card that would process correctly was a card from pnc bank

Hopefully foreign merchants will switch to 3d secure 2 faster so we don't get these kinds of issues.

Will you always have prime The store card is useless without prime The chase card still gives 3% i believe without prime I recommend chase regardless if you think you have a chance at approval

It is more useful to have a credit card over a line of credit with amazon which is what the store card basically is. Truei tried calling the fraud support team, and i spoke with someone from chase who said that their cards support 3d secure, but they were unable to see my transaction on their end If you can afford the time, escalate it with chase 3d secure is a visa feature

In my experience dealing with it for foreign transactions, if the rep can't see the transaction attempts, you.

It's not a problem to use visa credit cards physically in japan The problem is when trying to make online purchases from japanese websites (which includes digital ic cards in apple wallet) If you're bringing a visa card with you, you shouldn't have a problem inside the country buying things from stores, restaurants, etc. Lol yeah right, chase refuses arbitration escalations once they close your case

Chase decides if it goes to arbitration, consumer protection is dead with their new policies that don't even follow visa's own policies. You can't refer the amazon credit card through chase

You need to do it through amazon. I use one of my chase cards for daily payments and bills As such, it can get a substantial balance which i usually pay off all at once This month when i went to pay off the total balance i got a message confirming i wanted to do that instead of paying the “interest savings balance” and “prevent interest on new charges”.

Interesting that my chase visa works absolutely fine to reload my suica (literally just reupped it) But one of my other visas will not work
