The only consolation i have is that i have been steadily promoted upwards, but it always just feels like a handout or something because i technically have seniority. It's sometimes immaturity in the boss, or it's a mental calculation about whether it's best to get you out the door vs Keep you in to train a replacement, but it happens all the time. I never feel threatened, or feel like i must do something i don't want to do, else feel the wrath of a toxic manager If you yourself see you're misfiring or making dumb mistake after dumb mistake, or if your decision making has been bad Sometimes, if your attendance has been spotty or if you've been late, you'll start to fabricate consequences in your head.
