I've got a stainless pole at home and use chrome at the studio I've only had my home pole a couple of months so it's still quite slippery, but i've noticed that my grip isn't as affected by hand sweat on my home pole as it is on the studio poles. I have quite a few black & decker tools with the interchangeable battery, but read some reviews that the b&d pole saw falls apart pretty quickly and the charge lasts only about 20 min under heavy use.
