Since the chapter's release a couple years ago, there's been a lot of flak given about the scene between mei mei and ui ui in the malaysian hotel room, and for good reason
The scenario is gross, framed to illicit disgust or at least discomfort, and is a trope all too common in the world of manga where it is treated as a gag
But i feel like one of the issues in the community and the world as. From meimei's side, i do believe he was a regular and she enjoyed playing with him, perhaps she enjoyed the regular company and recognition of her skills I don't feel like it was romantic but perhaps she did admire him. Meimei was fx's servant, but i think it was more of a big sister relationship like maomao has with the princesses
She's watched someone she cares about waste away, and sees a chance for her to get to be as happy as possible in her current condition, and to help a man who she has great sympathy for try to heal his mistake as best as possible. I didn't really like mei mei all that much since her introduction but i didn't hate her so i guess i was more neutral on the character but after seeing the scene in the manga i have to say it is kinda sus I wonder if they have the balls to actually animate that scene in the anime and how people are gonna react to it.
