Previously had true crime mukbangs until she deleted or unlisted them from her channel some time last year
Due to criticism on insensitivity of eating while storytelling on horrific things from many people and a victim’s parent reaching out, all true crime mukbangs were removed from the channel. Stephanie seems to love to act sympathetic as if she understands people and their trauma, and yet can't understand how person who was groomed and in a violent relationship didn't just leave Sure, she had a job, but that doesn't mean steven didn't have control over her. It came out in february '22 From all the books on trauma i've read, this one was my favorite If i would have to choose just one book on trauma, this might be it Very open, honest, human, realistic and easy to listen to
It is a memoir about stephanie foo getting a cptsd diagnosis and the next years of her trying to heal
She's not just spouting series of facts that others have been doing but she makes sure that the viewers learn the social context/issues that surround each case. Honestly, stephanie seems like she's very out of touch of reality I have seen her other vlogs and looks like she has some issues so that explains it I just hope she realizes how insensitive her true crime videos are because i really thought she was a good person
