The only other way is obtaining shaymin in pokemon legends arceus and transferring to bd/sp through pokemon home. It's fast, hits really hard with potential to nerf checks and counters so hard that they aren't reliable, and has an excellent support movepool. Ok so i just changed it to sky form shaymin and it boosted the cp, and i was able to change it right back to land form shaymin, and it went back down to the original cp.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to get the oak's letter or member card in your game
You would have to trade for them
They lasted for a month each, and we knew about them for even longer Arceus and sword or shield save data then shaymin and darkrai will always be catchable in that game You can trade them over to bdsp through home I have shaymin from my original pearl & platinum saves, but how can i get the sinnoh map on bdsp opened up without a timed event

Unfortunately i myself have yet to think of a good nickname for these guys but i'm curious as to what y'all have come up with so please feel free to share. Firstly, a lot of people will say that shaymin's sky forme doesn't look like virizion at all, other than being a grass type quadruped However, i feel like this argument doesn't hold up for a couple reasons One is that there are plenty of examples of evolutions looking incredibly different from their previous self
Look at remoraid and octillery. Why is shaymin so unused that it's now in the lowest tier
