Named after the famous chalk cliffs that form part of the sussex heritage coast, seven sisters country park is a popular location for visitors to explore the nature and wildlife of cuckmere haven and the famous chalk cliffs along this magnificent stretch of coastline between seaford and eastbourne. Seven sisters is the first nature site in the national park to be directly owned and managed by the national park authority. Seven sisters country park, encompasses 280 hectares of rolling chalk downland, flood plain meadow and wetland habitat, flanking the meanders of the cuckmere valley in east sussex (famously painted by eric ravilious).
