A tiefling goddess of magic might still be mystra but the tieflings she interacts with might portray her as a tiefling woman and with a different name You'd probably need a significant number of tieflings in one place though since myths, legends, and even gods are based around a shared culture. I'm wondering if some words and names in the d&d lexicon have real world roots Aasimar tiefling genasi are these words just made up, or do they actually mean something in some real world language
If you have words that you'd like to know the meaning/history of, list them in. I decided the shared attitudes of this group qualify as a distinct tiefling culture, but i don’t have a good name for it So this culture needs some name other than “abyssal.” I wouldnt even mind playing from here if somebody knew how to edit in the gold i need with the keeper of names to get me a chance later in the battle by keeping my henchman loyal & helping me.
I thought it might be helpful to compile an official mega list of proper pronunciation for d&d names
