The truth is it's unknown if satella possessed emilia or just consumed her along with the rest of sanctuary Some interpret garfiels reaction to indicate that emilia was in fact possessed but in truth garfiel would not have even been able to see the supposed possession take place because that would have taken place within the trial room. Satella is the one holding woe It's something that crosses my mind, i mean, in arc 4 woe only appeared because subaru revealed his secret to echidna, and in arc 6 because louis ended up finding out (technically subaru didn't say anything)
Time differences aside (in arc 4, woe appeared almost immediately, and in arc 6 after a few hours after the secret was revealed) it's not strange either.
