A small piece of dnr property on mica peak is about it for any public hunting and the now high use by hikers makes it pretty marginal In years past, i have shot grouse in that area, but the long, uphill hike to reach the ip property boundary to. Mica is now closed to motorized vehicles and i figured that the deer up there probably hadn't been pressured too much I got a late start to the day, but a 45 minute hike, a little farting around getting situated in the tree and i was ready to rock by about 11:30.

Welp 5th day of taking son out for youth mason tag We have yet to see a deer found very few rubs, very little sign, i think today we are mile 36 of walking sat on power lines , clear cuts , green diamond land, even went one day over to tahuya I feel like we are in before dark out after sunset seams like we should be seeing some thing Seams like some rut action should.
