I know that’s really bad I got an email a while back from uf about the online aleks placement test for math courses, and was wondering what would prevent someone from cheating to achieve a higher score I’m concerned about the impact this will have on me when i start school in the fall

I’ve gotten a’s and b’s in my math classes during high school and i think that i was able to get a 4 on my ap statistics exam.

Since there is only one test for all levels of math and the topics could be determined by the college, it is hard to say how hard it will be for you to get a 46 However, if you don’t get the score you want/need on. I am wondering which test is a better option, sticking with aleks or using the study guides from aleks and apply it to the clep to test out of college level math (general ed requirment). I recently took the aleks math placement test to determine what my first college math course will be, and i received a score of 69
My college requires a score of 46+ to take college algebra, and a score of 61+ to take calculus Although my score qualifies me to take calc, i feel far more comfortable starting with college algebra. I just finished 3 semesters of calculus using mymathlab, and i would say aleks is a good comparison. What is the highest math you completed in high school
Based on what you stated and the website you do not have the prerequisites for placement in calc
If you have not had precalc, you need to take that first. Since aleks gets ace credit they need to keep the integrity of there courses from being easy to cheat If you mean to paste the problem into a document to print and study once you ask for an explanation you can print it out for further reference. Aleks has 3 ace approved stats courses (intro to stats, business stats, & stats for behavioral sciences.) they're pretty much the same course, some of the questions are worded differently (the business courses use business examples in the word problems and so on.) the transcript will come from ace, so if you school will accept ace credit courses, you should be good, i'd check with them first.
