It's the same with image generation and people who otherwise would never put pen to paper Another thing you could do is use an ai like gemini by google to give you a 120 character prompt for a music style that would get you closer to the style of some song you like, in my case i can say i want a prompt for suno that would get me a song in a similar style to dua lipa’s illusion, and it would give an adequate prompt for the music. That ai can provide creative outlets for everyone is something to really be celebrated.

Or does the commercial usage only apply to songs made after upgrading to a paid subscription I really like some of the. I searched all over, and i did not find a true alternative So i succumbed to buying, sadly no one listens to my music

I think suno does the vocals separate and mixes 'em in. When ai or a human ‘hears’ that song, then it’s drawn on as influence to make new music Get too close to that composition and the original rights holder can claim infringement. You own the generated song if you are a paid subscriber
In credits i just say that i wrote the lyrics and music is by suno If i add any extra bits, extra vocals or something, i also credit myself Pretty simple if you ask me. I absolutly love messing around with suno.ai but i find their token system rather annoying
