As for the fake looking profiles, i think a lot of people just use facebook for the marketplace like me I don't have any friends or posts on facebook because i only use it for buying and selling.
Facebook only wants you to use your real account on marketplace Which makes sense because it acts as a scam prevention mechanism Even if you make the most realistic profile possible you will probably be banned for only using marketplace and not having friends or using other parts of facebook to make you look like an actual person.
