My very first playthrough when blood moon was a wip i assumed the alpha would just execute this maddened stray anyway so i killed her, romanced vicky, and went to the witch Needless to say i was shocked when i did a second playthrough and found out carrie wasn't supposed to always be a ghost. On my first playthrough i chose to bring carrie to the alpha, since it seemed like the obvious choice I kinda assumed that if i argued in favor of killing her, the other strays would just overrule me, so that the story wouldn't go off the rails And when i read a bit about other outcomes, how you can actually romance carrie and bring.
