I need something sturdy enough to handle chest carry while wading and probably falling into the river🤪 I have looked around for mod 3 upgrades and finally found powder river precision And will i need a special plate to.
About a month ago i stupidly broke the magwell on my new xdm elite 9mm while attempting to change the backstrap
I emailed springfield customer service at the time but did not hear back until today
Replacement magwells are now available from springfield for $6.75 each plus s&h The good news is that springfield has finally addressed this issue in new production models, but i found an inexpensive way to correct overtravel on older xd models while retaining the original trigger mechanism parts My stock xd45c (mod 1) underperformed my m&p45c in accuracy. I finished removing the old sights and installing the new taller springfield armory sights today
I bought a used sight pusher (wiregear) and am real glad i made the purchase The front sight rubs a little on the wholeguns paddle holster but it still holsters okay The sights might be a hair. Send a pm to ajames on the forum
He does them for a lot of members here.
With the springfield xd being available on sale occasionally around the $300 mark or lightly used models hovering around the same, the brg9 isn't a good value Springfield support alone is worth any price differential. I have the subcompact model The two popular kits, springer and powder river both advertise about a 3.5 lb trigger weight
I'm not especially interested in reducing the pull weight I'd like to reduce the pre travel and especially shorten the reset.basically make it more like a walther. I bought a sa xd 3 because i couldn't pass up the price and being a big fan of sa firearms i bought it I like the gun but the trigger is plastic and s__ks
