So as i was trolling around the web i stumbled across these guys springfield xdm

The gal at springfield said that any parts they send you can be replaced by the end user, i.e They send nothing out that would interfere with safety issues
I took this to mean that the recoil spring assembly replacement by the end user is not anything of concern as to voiding the warranty I did not however specifically ask her that either. I tried searching this forum for info on +p ammo, but couldnt find what i was looking for So i sent an email to sa asking if it was ok to shoot +p ammo in my 9mm xdm

Hi all, has anyone else had problems racking the slide of the xd 9mm It seems much more difficult than any other handgun I've tried glocks, 1911s, h&ks, berettas, and sigs, and all are much easier to rack Even the xdm is far easier
I'm a little confused (and maybe embarrassed?) because. Send a pm to ajames on the forum He does them for a lot of members here. Best simple advise i have seen for sighting in the m1a is to bottom out the aperture, then raise the aperture up by turning the elevation knob 8 to 12 clicks
