Did you try a whole new clean sims 4 folder and new save or did you just uninstall and reinstall the game and are still using the same user data in the sims 4 folder? This may need to be done manually each time you want to use any saved games saved to onedrive I have a problem with sims 4

Basically my game progress is not being saved
Tried recreating the saves folder, recreating the whole electronic arts folder The last time the problem occurred i have disabled lovestruck package and it solved the problem I have now downloaded university package and the same happened again Please open documents > electronic arts > the sims 4 and post a screenshot of the contents of the saves folder, as in, i'd like to see the save file names and sizes
You could of course share your saves, but there are other troubleshooting steps potentially worth trying first. Still, it wouldn't hurt to try to download one of these saves, if they exist. I opened the sims 4 for the first time in a while today and all my saves are gone I have now read that this can happen after an ea update and how to get them back, but i cant get them back They’re not in the saves folder and they’re not anywhere else Does this mean they’re just gone?
Recently all of my save files seem to have gone from sims, they look like they are in documents\\electronic arts\\the sims 4\\saves but when i open sims i don't have the ability to load, just start new game :( help that's 2070 hours game play right there :( My issue right now is that my brother moved my origin games, sims 4 and electronic arts folders from local disk to the new volume folder for more space But because of this, all of my game process and saves are gone, (besides the sims and builds i uploaded to the gallery), although i still have the files from my saved games, i’m not sure how to restore my game while keeping these folders in. To get saves to be recognized they need to be in the game's save folder
