But then if silksong is a sequel, hornet wouldn't be alive during silksong So, team cherry will either have to pick a true ending to either hollow knight or silksong, which would indicate whether it is a prequel or a sequel or they would have to make every silksong ending compatible with hk which would mean that silksong is a prequel.
