As someone who is also racially ambiguous and constantly mislabeled, i'm at a point where i'm not trying to guess or make assumptions about people's racial/ethnic makeup. Just as the term blasian acknowledges that someone is both black and asian I personally feel most connected to my filipina heritage, but it would be wrong of me to outright deny the fact that i’m mixed considering i do have eurocentric features and i still benefit from white privilege.
