So i was wondering what happened to this game series as i could've sworn that there were rumors of a remastered version of the first two games, but it seems that the franchise has remained inactive. The crest system is amazing and a great way to augment and add abilities. Now the first game seems to be silver star, but from what i've gathered fans can't decide on what the optimal version of that game is

Lunar is my favorite gosh darn series
Ps1 is peak for both the first and second game, silver star story complete and eternal blue complete, respectively I think most characters are written pretty well, especially jessica from the first game and jean from the second. Yes, lunar silver star story and lunar 2 eternal blue are a complete story The original is in itself complete, and then lunar 2 follows up on a few lore elements 1000 years later, has some nice cameos, and wraps up neatly as well
The only questions left unanswered after 2 are the sort of questions the nerds who have played this game 10 times might ask each other A friend of mine recently picked up and beat lunar on psp and said it was quite good, and it's the sort of series that's always been in my periphery but that i'd never played Given the propensity for remakes, i'm wondering which version of which games is the best one to play if i want to get into the series fresh He said load times were bad on the psp, but i'd be playing off a memory stick.

The ps1 version is superior to the sega cd original in all respects Lunar 1 is a bit different, because each version of the game is actually.well, different The minecraft game window doesn't open at all If i try to launch from the versions menu, it goes back to the home screen and the same previously described cycle occurs

I just finished lunar 2 and have a few thoughts Firstly there are a lot of things that this game does well, the ai auto battle makes encounters much more manageable especially in a game like this where encounters are very hard to avoid
